Blacksmith - Drakon Forge
Creativity in steel
My fascination with the art and magical allure of blacksmithing, both in historical context and literature, inspired me to learn the craft. This passion evolved into teaching blacksmithing as a skill. As my hobby transitioned into a business, I trained additional blacksmiths to assist with instruction. Eventually, I began designing and manufacturing the necessary tools for my students to embark on their own blacksmithing journeys.

As part of the Department of Education Innovation for the University of Pretoria I aim to support and train lecturers on sound educational practice and how to leverage technology for better teaching. My role also include researching topics like:
