The tools work. The demos are impressive. What breaks is everything around them: nobody owns the process, the data is somewhere else, and the people expected to use it were never part of the decision.



I start from the other end. Which two or three processes cost you the most, what would it be worth to change them, and can we prove it inside a quarter. If the answer is no, you should not be spending the money.
